The Power and the Glory
For the second edition of the composition (1924), the title was changed to Power and Glory - Fraternal March. Bierley reports that the change is under the direction of James Francis Cooke, president of Theodore Presser and that sales rose significantly after the name change and use of elaborate three-color cover. Most of the piano editions have a staff to be played by the right hand and one for the left. This edition has another staff above the right hand which shows the Onward Christian Soldiers as a "brass" line as the melody, with the woodwind part as the countermelody (right hand) and the accompaniment in the left hand.
