Theodore Presser

James Cooke was president of Theodore Presser Co., publisher of this and other of Sousa' compositions, also was editor of the Etude Magazine. An article in Feb. 1938 described the four different kinds of bands sponsored by the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company. The article refers to Mitten as a "nationally known transportation expert of Buffalo and in Chicago and later of Philadelphia".
